Fashion show looks to promote new collections by young, emerging Czech designers
As we closed 2012, I was left wondering how in the world 2013 would even be able to top the amazing young designers that we encountered (hello, dinosaur shoes! Jindra Jansova’s layering collection!).
Of course never one to let us down, the good team and stewards of Shooting Fashion Stars have picked four top talents worth your time and attention. Most of the designer’s have already been covered in Czech language by another fellow journalist, fashion-badass, and presenter on Radio Wave’s Modeschau, Veronika Ruppert. So that leaves little ole’ me to fill you in on the details in English.
The Shooting Fashion Stars finalists are a hodgepodge of soon-to-be-well-known designers and in case you don’t know them, well, it seems you will have to wait just a bit longer. Spoiler alert- each will have their own small interview here on Prague Fashion Scene to promote themselves and their brand! But, until then, here are at least their names.
Mirka Horka and Stepan Ruzicka
Monika Prikrylova- Mongol
and Special Guest Dagmar Kestner
There will be an exclusive fashion show for some 800 guests held at Masarykovo Nádraži on April 11th. Should you not be one of the lucky few to get this coveted ticket there will be a live stream available through Iconiq.cz, something the organizers are quite eager about sharing- we do live in a democracy after all.
Of course once you’ve pinned and tweeted your favorite outfits from the live stream the public can shop until their little hearts are content at both La Gallery Novesta, until Saturday and the FIM Gallerie until Sunday- both located in Prague 1.
